Yeah, yeah, we know that weddings traditionally are a great opportunity to help a young couple to set up housekeeping. But we all know that we're not such a young couple. In fact we're bringing together two well-established lives, and households. But there are things that we have never picked up for ourselves and could use. We both love hosting guests and many of our selections have to do with hosting folks - cookware, dinnerware, and linens. Since we have not been able to find ALL our dream stuff in one place, we have registered at different places. So you can find a few things at these different sites:
We've gone to Crate and Barrel for glassware
Different Drummer Kitchens Lenox (413-637-0606) for knives and some cookware. This store has no connection so a simlarly named store in Wellesley. Turns out their website is lousy. Your best bet is to call. Our neighbor and friend George works there with other friendly folks. They would be happy to help you out.
Amazon for Fiesta Ware; we're looking for a mix-and-match of twelve placesettings in three colors: sunflower, tangerine, and sea mist.
We've also registered at MACY'S for sheets and towels and a few kitchen items.
